We like to stay light and fast on the trail with the Nimbus UL 1 Tent in our pack. Mountain Hardwear may have simplified and streamlined some features in order to shave weight, but this rugged shelter boasts superior tear strength to give us reliable reprieve from harrowing storms on the trail. Plus, a translucent rainfly not only protects us as drops begin to fall, but also gives us a portal through which to watch the thunder clouds pass overhead.
