Black Diamond designed the Mission 35 Backpack for long and steep approaches to high alpine granite. Our excursions require a pack that gets our gear there while keeping our back and shoulders in good enough shape to climb the route once we arrive. The Mission 35 is minimalist in design, but it maintains all necessary components for climbing summery cliffs and mid-winter ice.
